Welcome to Lake Tahoe says the rainbow. This was the view from our cabin as we arrived in South Lake Tahoe, CA. The tallest pine trees I've ever seen surround us. Behind the cabin is a snow capped mountain. We are sitting at roughly 6200 feet elevation with the temperatures in the high 70's during the day.
