Over two years ago, I asked Charlie for a sushi set because I wanted to make it at home. So, being the little trooper, she got me all sorts of japanese tricky stuff. I never could pull the trigger on making it though...until today. I'm not sure why it took MLK day to inspire me, but I freaking got all samurai in the kitchen today. FYI: I don't recommend eating nori (the seaweed wrap) by itself though because it tastes kinda nasty. My dogs didn't mind though; I fed them what was left from my personl seaweed taste test. They thought it was some kind of great treat.
